[Original] Argentina: Cement consumption fell 2.5% year-on-year in December

Cement consumption in December 2014 fell 2.5% year-on-year to 892,300 tonnes (including imports), despite an increase in domestic construction projects, according to the Argentine Cement Association AFCP. Meanwhile, cement shipments fell 2.4% year-on-year to 905,300 tons (including exports).

In 2014, construction projects in Argentina fell by 0.4% year on year.

In January 2015, Argentina's domestic cement sales increased by 1.9% year-on-year to 927,500 tons. Cement exports fell by 27% compared with 16705 tons in the same period in 2014.

Conch Cement: net profit in the first half of the year was 2.527 billion yuan, down 42.76% from the same period last year.

On the evening of August 26, Conch Cement disclosed its semi-annual report that in the first half of the year, the company realized operating income of 36.927 billion yuan, down 10.88% from the same period last year; the net profit attributable to shareholders of listed companies was 2.527 billion yuan, down 42.76% from the same period last year; the basic earnings per share was 0.48 yuan/share.
