Construction of Sinoma Zambia Building Materials Industrial Park

   Sinoma Group has taken a new step in promoting cooperation in international production capacity and equipment manufacturing. On October 11, the project of Sinoma Zambia Building Material Industrial Park, which plans to invest more than 500 million US dollars, started construction. Sinoma Zambia Building Materials Industrial Park has planned a number of building materials projects based on the development model of circular economy industrial park, and will build a new dry cement production line with an annual output of 1 million tons in 2015.

   Liu Zhijiang, chairman of Sinoma Group, said at the press conference of the project that this is the first step for Sinoma Group to invest and develop in Zambia. After the start of the first 2500t/d new dry cement production line project, Sinoma Group will plan to build production lines of building aggregates, high-quality sintered bricks, lime and fiber cement boards. It will also introduce advanced technologies and products such as glass fibers and products of Sinoma Group into Zambia in due course, aiming at further expanding the trade of other building materials products between China and Zambia and providing high-quality building materials and efficient integrated services for Zambia's infrastructure construction.

   Relevant parties said that Sinoma Zambia Building Material Industrial Park will directly or indirectly create more than 3000 jobs for the local people, further promote the development of non-metallic mining, logistics and transportation and other related services, and provide long-term and stable support for Zambia's economic development, employment and the improvement of residents'living standards.

   Up to now, Sinoma Group has built more than 150 large-scale new dry-process cement production lines with advanced technology abroad, covering more than 70 countries and regions around the world, forming a strong international competitiveness, ranking first in the world in terms of international market share for eight consecutive years, and SINOMA brand has become a world-renowned brand.

   Sinoma Group has built a number of cement production lines in Africa, which has led to the export of many cement engineering equipment independently developed by China to Africa and made positive contributions to the infrastructure construction in Africa. Sinoma Zambia Building Materials Industrial Park is one of the concrete measures taken by the Group to implement the spirit of "Promoting the Central Enterprises to Participate in the Belt and Road Construction and the International Conference on Capacity and Equipment Manufacturing Cooperation".

   After the central government put forward the concept of "the Belt and Road" construction, Sinoma Group took advantage of the situation to upgrade the "going out" strategy, from the previous product and technology service type to the international allocation of resources and funds and brand standard type, and successively invested in key industries in India, Germany and other countries, and planned dozens of investment projects in the countries along the "the Belt and Road".
