On October 10, President Edgar Lungu of the Republic of Zambia met with Chairman of the Board of Sinoma Liu Zhijiang and his delegation at the Presidential Residence in Lusaka. Edgar & # 96 42; President Lungu welcomed Chairman Liu Zhijiang's visit to Zambia and expressed his appreciation and affirmation for Sinoma Group's efforts to develop cement and other related industries in Zambia. He said that the friendship between China and Zambia has a long history. He hoped and encouraged Sinoma Group to participate in the development of Zambia faster, more and better and play its due role in the friendly cooperation between China and Zambia.
Liu Zhijiang introduced the general situation of Sinoma Group's industrial development and the international development concept and strategic layout of cement technology and equipment and engineering services. He said that over the years, Sinoma Group has actively participated in Zambia's economic development and infrastructure construction, and has successively built several cement production lines in Zambia. President Lungu also personally attended the commissioning ceremony of the Ndola cement production line contracted by Sinoma Group. In this regard, Liu Zhijiang once again expressed his gratitude to President Lungu.
Liu Zhijiang said that he believed that with the concern of President Lungu, the support of the Zambian government, and the help of the Chinese Embassy in Zambia and the Economic Counsellor's Office, the Sinoma Zambia Building Material Industrial Park invested by Sinoma Group will be completed and put into operation as soon as possible, and Sinoma Group will surely make new contributions to the development of Zambia.
