Gao Dengbang Meets with President of Siam Cement, Thailand

   On August 1, 2016, Conch Group Party Secretary and Chairman Gao Dengbang met with visiting President Mr. Roongrote Rangsiyopash of Siam Cement Group of Thailand at the headquarters of the Group. Siam Cement Group's regional deputy Mr. Aree Chavalitcheewingul, deputy Mr. Chana Poomee of operations, Wu Bin, general manager of Conch Cement , and Li yuanyi, chief process engineer, attended the meeting.

   The two sides held a discussion and exchange in Conference Room 2308.

   Chairman Gao Dengbang warmly welcomed the visit of the President of the Mr. Roongrote. He briefly introduced the production and operation of Conch Group and the 13th Five-Year Plan, focusing on the international development strategy. He pointed out that Siam Cement Group and Conch Group have a good foundation for cooperation. The good-neighborliness and friendship between China and Thailand and the vigorous implementation of the national "the Belt and Road" strategy will bring more opportunities for cooperation between the two sides. He hoped that the two sides would further strengthen communication, explore the establishment of a comprehensive strategic cooperative relationship, give full play to their respective advantages and achieve common development.

   The president of Mr. Roongrote expressed his gratitude to Conch Group for its warm reception. He spoke highly of the good performance of Conch Group, pointing out that Conch Group has vigorously developed energy-saving and environmental protection industries, showing a responsible image of a large enterprise, which is admirable. Conch Group and Siam Cement Group have been cooperating for a long time. Both sides are now further expanding overseas investment, and cooperation areas and opportunities are also increasing. It is suggested that both sides establish a regular exchange mechanism for enterprises to deepen cooperation.

   Prior to the meeting, the President of Mr. Roongrote and his delegation visited the exhibition hall of Conch Group, energy-saving equipment manufacturing base and Conch Siam Refractory Material Company, accompanied by Li Yueyi, chief process engineer of the Cement Company.
