PAC Certificate for Saudi YCC Project

Recently, the Saudi YCC waste heat power generation project contracted by Sinoma Energy Conservation was successfully handed over and PAC certificate was obtained. YCC waste heat power generation project is the largest single installed capacity waste heat power station project in the world so far, and as a representative of overseas projects of Sinoma Energy Conservation, it was exhibited in the "Five Years of Endeavor" large-scale achievement exhibition.

Hu Yeming, President of Sinoma Energy Conservation, Wei Wenhua, Vice President of Sinoma Energy Conservation and ZUGAIL, President of YCC attended the project handover ceremony.

The project is a waste heat power generation project using two cement production lines with a daily output of 8500 tons and 11000 tons and 15 diesel generating units, with a total installed capacity of 37 MW. The diesel waste heat boiler and bypass exhaust waste heat boiler of the project are jointly developed and designed by Sinoma Energy Conservation and Nantong Wanda and produced by Nantong Wanda. The diesel waste heat boiler uses the waste heat resources of 15 diesel generators in the self-contained power station of the cement production line to produce superheated steam for power generation. Sinoma Energy Conservation and Nantong Wanda have carried out a number of technical research and successfully overcome a number of technical problems in boiler ash removal system, sealing system, preventing acid corrosion of boiler heating surface, ensuring the safe operation of diesel generator and diesel waste heat boiler flue gas system; Bypass exhaust waste heat boiler is used to produce superheated steam for power generation by using the waste heat resources from the bypass exhaust of the smoke chamber at the kiln end of the cement production line. Sinoma Energy Conservation and Nantong Wanda have studied the ash characteristics in the bypass exhaust flue gas through experiments, so as to determine the temperature control range of the flue gas at the inlet and outlet of the boiler, optimize the boiler design and select the appropriate ash cleaning system for the heating surface and the anti-blocking measures for the ash hopper. After the project is put into operation, all indicators meet the design requirements, and the operation is stable and reliable.

From design to equipment manufacturing, from port gathering to installation, from construction management to commissioning, the project team has overcome practical difficulties such as difficult visa processing, tight project schedule, complex system and difficult construction, and successfully completed the task. Line 4 and Line 5 have been connected to the grid ahead of schedule. Up to now, Sinoma Energy Conservation has built and operated two waste heat power stations for Saudi Najran Cement Plant and Yanbu Cement Plant by general contracting.
