Cambodia's Largest Cement Plant Jimao Insee Cement Completed and Put into Operation

   Cambodia Jimao Insee Cement Co., Ltd. was established on September 16, 2015. Jimao Insee Cement Plant Project is a joint venture between Cambodia Jimao Group and Thailand SCCC Cement Co., Ltd. in Cambodia, with CITIC Heavy Industries as the general contractor. The cement plant is currently the largest single-line cement production line with the highest degree of modernization in Cambodia.

   The total investment of Jimao Insee Cement Plant project is as high as 263 million US dollars, with Jimao Group Company holding 60% and Thailand SCCC Cement Company holding 40%.

   The construction of Jimao Insee Cement Plant Project started in March 2016. The clinker production capacity of CMIC cement production line project is expected to reach 5000 tons per day, and the cement production capacity will reach 1.5 million tons per year. The project will directly provide 500 local jobs and indirectly create employment opportunities for more than 5000 people, making it the largest, most advanced, most energy-saving and lowest carbon emission cement plant in Cambodia.
