Vietnam's cement exports surged to 4.52 million tons in the first seven months, and China is Vietnam's second largest cement sales market.

Statistics from Vietnam's General Administration of Customs show that in the first seven months of 2018, the total export volume of cement and slag increased significantly year-on-year, reaching 17.65 million tons and 656.3 million US dollars, respectively, with an increase of 63.2% and 73.4%. The export price of cement and slag increased by 6.3%, with an average price of 37.2 US dollars per ton. Bangladesh is Vietnam's largest cement and slag sales market, accounting for 23.3% of Vietnam's total cement exports.
