BASF to consolidate construction chemicals operations in Japan

< P > < FONT face = Verdana > German chemicals company BASF said on March 12 that it will merge its construction chemicals business in Japan, BASF Pozzolith, with BASF Japan from July 1 this year.

< P > < FONT face = Verdana > "Our purpose is to create added value as a company," said the president of BASF Japan. "The merger of BASF Pozzolith into BASF Japan will help integrate R & D, market information and customer relations," the president added.

< P > < FONT face = Verdana > BASF Pozzolith in Japan offers a wide range of construction chemicals, including concrete products and various building materials. The details of the merger's funding were not disclosed. In 2011, BASF had sales of 18 billion euros in Japan.

Suggestions on promoting the integration and development of China's cement industry through mergers and acquisitions

At present, China's cement industry is falling into the most severe industry dilemma since this century, and merger and reorganization is an important measure to solve the situation of "downward demand, excess capacity, involution loss".
