On May 29, Enlightenment Design issued an announcement. Its holding subsidiary Shangyuan (Shouguang) Electric Power Co., Ltd. (The company holds the company Huatian (Shouguang) Electric Power Co., Ltd. , a wholly-owned subsidiary with 51% equity, plans to construct the project of "Shouguang High Temperature Molten Salt + Iron and Chromium Liquid Flow Sharing Heis Energy Storage Power Station", which has recently obtained the "Shandong Construction Project Record Certificate".
It is reported that the project, with a total investment of 5 billion yuan, is located in Wenjia Street, Weifang City, Shandong Province, and mainly constructs 600MW/3600MWh high-temperature molten salt + 100MW/600MWh iron-chromium liquid flow energy storage power station and related supporting facilities. 100MW/600MWh high temperature molten salt + 20MW/120MWh Fe-Cr liquid flow energy storage power station will be constructed in the first phase of the project; 500MW/3000MWh high temperature molten salt + 80MW/480 MWh Fe-Cr liquid flow energy storage power station will be constructed in the second phase.
