Xinjiang 1GW PV project removed from grid connection list!

On June 18, the Development and Reform Commission of Shihezi City, the eighth division of the Sinkiang Production and Construction Corps, issued a public announcement on the list of new energy projects that will integrate the newly built 4.6GW (Phase I 2.6GW) photovoltaic power generation project and 1GW photovoltaic power generation project out of the Corps market.

18 June, Shihezi Municipal Development and Reform Commission of the Eighth Division of the Sinkiang Production and Construction Corps issued a report on moving the 1GW photovoltaic power generation project of the 4.6GW (Phase I 2.6GW) photovoltaic power generation project out of the Corps and connecting it to the market Publicity of the list of new energy projects.

The announcement pointed out that according to the needs of the work, Xinjiang Zhongtian Qihang Clean Energy Co., Ltd. and Xinjiang Zhongtian Excellent Clean Energy Co. , Ltd. The original 4.6GW (Phase I 2.6GW) photovoltaic power generation project was adjusted to 4.6GW (Phase I 1.6GW) photovoltaic power generation project .

It is reported that the project has been started in Tacheng District and Bukesaier Mongolian Autonomous County on May 27 , 2024.

The project adopts the "grass and light complementary" power generation mode, which is divided into two phases , the first phase is originally planned to build 2.6GW, and the second phase is planned to build 2GW . The total investment of the project is about 21 billion yuan , the total construction period is 24 months, and the production and operation period is 25 years.
