Rongjiang South Hub Interchange is set to connect with the existing Xiamen-Chengdu Expressway. It passes through Guzhou Town, Tingdong Town, Xiajiang Town, Bingmei Town, Xishan Town and Douli Town of Congjiang County. It ends near Jiefangtun in Guizhou and Guangxi, and connects with the second phase of Rongan-Congjiang Expressway to be built in Guangxi. The

total length of the project is 72.267 kilometers, with 6 interchanges, including Rongjiang South Hub, Dadong Interchange, Xiajiang Interchange, Congjiangnan Interchange, Xishan Interchange and Douli Interchange; 1 supporting service area (Douli Service Area) and 1 parking area (Dadong Parking Area). The whole line adopts the standard of two-way four-lane expressway, with a design speed of 100km/H and an integral subgrade width of 26m. The design vehicle load grade of bridges and culverts is consistent with the preliminary design, and other technical indicators are strictly implemented in accordance with the Technical Standards for Highway Engineering (JT GB01-2014).
