The report shows that on April 15, a general mechanical injury accident occurred in Guizhou Renhuai Beicheng Concrete Company, resulting in one death and a direct economic loss of 1.5 million yuan. Liu Moudong, a mechanic of the company, entered the equipment to carry out welding and cutting operations without disconnecting the power supply when he overhauled the sand and gravel separator. Finally, the equipment automatically ran and twisted it to death. After investigation, the enterprises involved had stopped production before the accident and did not report it. Liu Moudong did not obtain the special operation certificate of electrician and welding, and the safety management was seriously absent. Afterwards, the relevant responsible persons and companies were punished, and the supervisory units were also required to conduct written inspections.
