On June 18, Longji Green Energy formally signed a cooperation agreement with South Korea's SG Energy. The two sides will take Longji Longjin products as the core and jointly promote product certification, demonstration project construction and sales channel layout in the Korean market. The signing of this contract marks the large-scale entry of Longji Longjin into the overseas market, and is also the key to Longji's expansion of global building photovoltaic business .
South Korea is becoming one of the most promising markets for building photovoltaics in the world. According to the "Energy-saving and Environment-friendly Housing Construction Standards" revised by the Land Ministry of Transport of Korea, the compulsory certification of Zero Energy Building (ZEB) has been implemented in public buildings since 2023, and the newly built private common housing must meet the ZEB level 5 and above standards by 2026. At the same time, policies such as green building certification and RE100 continue to advance, and the demand for building energy conservation and renewable energy substitution is increasingly urgent. Limited by the shortage of urban land and the limited roof area, the available surfaces such as facades, shading systems and public fences are particularly precious, and there is an urgent need for building photovoltaic products with both building material attributes and efficient power generation capacity, which can be widely used in industrial plants, logistics warehouses, commercial complexes, office buildings, schools, hospitals and gymnasiums. This is the core battlefield of Longji Longjin. As a "color building material that can generate electricity", Longjin breaks the limitation of single color and size of traditional photovoltaic products, and can flexibly adapt to building facade, shading and roof scenes. From the urban renewal of Beijing Workers'Stadium to the super-large-scale application of Shenzhen International Convention and Exhibition Center, Longjin has verified its dual ability of "meeting the national building standards and achieving high power generation revenue" in China.
SG Energy is a leading enterprise in the field of building photovoltaics in Korea, with deep local accumulation in project development, channel distribution and delivery of complex construction scenarios. The product capabilities of the two sides are highly complementary to local resources, and they quickly reached consensus on cooperation mode, product customization and after-sales service.
The cooperation was led by the Longji Korea team, and Zhao Bin, President of Longji Green Energy East Asia and Southeast Asia, exchanged views with the SG Energy team on the prospects of the Korean building photovoltaic market. Bai Zhongxue, Assistant Chairman of Longji Green Energy and President of Guangjian Systems Division, signed a cooperation agreement with the SG Energy CEO Justin Lee on the spot. According to the agreement, the two sides will accelerate the promotion of KS product certification in Korea, quickly land the first batch of demonstration projects, and jointly build a sales channel network covering high-end commercial buildings and public facilities.
This cooperation is not only a key step for Longji Longjin products to go to sea, but also an example of deep collaboration between Chinese and Korean enterprises in the field of building photovoltaic. SG Energy's localized delivery capability and channel resources will fully release Longji's technology accumulation and product innovation potential, and jointly create more efficient and suitable building photovoltaic solutions for the Korean market. Starting from this signing, the two sides will continue to deepen cooperation in standard certification, project development and technical services, and promote the large-scale landing of Longji Longjin in Korea and its integration into the skyline of more cities.
