On February 28, Hubei Energy Group issued a tender announcement for EPC general contracting of Nanzhang Qinghe 80 MW fishing-photovoltaic complementary power station project and 34 MW/68 MWh energy storage power station project, and the tenderer was Hanjiang Energy Development Co., Ltd. of Hubei Energy Group.

Hubei Energy Group Nanzhang Qinghe 80 MW Fishing-photovoltaic Complementary Power Station Project is located in Qinghe Management Area, Nanzhang County, Xiangyang City, Hubei Province. It is planned to build a prefabricated cabin 110 kV booster station as the access point of Nanzhang Wind Power, Photovoltaic and Energy Storage Project, with a main transformer capacity of 140 MVA. The planned installed capacity of the AC side of the photovoltaic area in this phase is 42.5MW, and the installed capacity of the DC side is 53.2714 MWp . The photovoltaic area is planned to use 750 mu, and 670 mu of fish ponds have been leased. Nanzhang Qinghe 34 MW/68 MWh Energy Storage Power Station of

Hubei Energy Group is located in Nanzhang Wind, Solar and Storage Integrated 110 kV Booster Station. The energy storage battery is boosted to 35 kV locally and connected to the 35 kV bus side of 110 kV booster station through two 35 kV cables with a length of about 60 m. After that, one 110kV line is connected to the 110kV side of 220kV Shuijing Substation. The energy storage battery system is proposed to use lithium iron phosphate batteries, which are tentatively configured with 6 sets of 5MW/10 MWh and 1 set of 4MW/8 MWh.

This EPC bidding includes but is not limited to: all survey and design of the project, procurement of all equipment and materials except for the equipment supplied by Party A (see Chapter VII "List of Equipment Supplied by Party A" for details), civil engineering construction, equipment installation, commissioning and testing, land requisition and coordination of local relations, engineering testing and other work. The planned construction period of the

project is 210 calendar days, which is planned to start on May 4, 2026, and all inverters , components and energy storage power stations will be connected to the grid by November 30, 2026.

This tender requires bidders to have good business ability, business reputation and corresponding qualifications; In terms of performance, the independent bidder or the consortium designer shall meet the requirements from January 1, 2022 to the deadline for bidding (subject to the time of contract signing). It must have at least one onshore centralized flexible support photovoltaic of 20 MW or above and one energy storage power station of 60 MWh or above completed construction drawing design or EPC general contracting.
