Recently, the Party Branch of Sichuan Zhaodi Cement Co., Ltd., affiliated to Southwest Cement Co., Ltd., jointly with the Party Committee of Wenchuan Emergency Management Bureau and the Party Committee of Xuankou Town, launched a comprehensive emergency drill of "Party Building Integration and Cohesion Hand in Hand to Protect Safety". The activities are closely related to the theme of "Safety Production Month" in the whole country, giving full play to the role of Party building in leading safety production, and weaving a safety production protection network with the joint construction mode of Party building between government and enterprises.
The actual combat
drill focused on the major risk sources of cement enterprises and simulated the danger of ammonia leakage and mine debris flow. With the issuance of the directive, the government and enterprises started the joint defense and control mechanism at the first time. The security team quickly delimits the alert area and orderly evacuates the dangerous operators; the on-site rescue team wears a full set of protective equipment, carries rescue equipment into the site for disposal, and synchronously transfers the "wounded" to the safe area; the medical rescue team immediately carries out standardized first aid treatment until 120 first aid personnel arrive at the site to complete the handover. The whole drill process is compact and smooth, and the backbone of Party members charge ahead, relying on excellent emergency literacy to efficiently complete the handling of dangerous situations, fully demonstrating the practical effectiveness of the integration of "Party building + security". The
training of strong skills
is also integrated into the special training of first aid skills. The person in charge of the Ministry of Safety and Environmental Protection of the enterprise explained in detail the rapid identification of cardiac arrest, the key points of cardiopulmonary resuscitation operation and the standardized use of AED (automated external defibrillator), and organized the trainees to carry out practical exercises. Through the closed-loop teaching of "theory + practice", we can make up for the blind area of staff's experience in first aid practice, so that staff can master the skills of self-rescue and mutual rescue, and add a "protective barrier" for staff's life safety.
The government-enterprise joint combat drill effectively strengthened the efficiency of emergency coordination between enterprises and local governments, and comprehensively tested the feasibility of the plan and the actual execution of the team.
