According to the announcement, the project has been approved by Chongren Ecological Environment Bureau of Fuzhou City on November 3, 2023. As some approved plots in the photovoltaic area of the project could not be leased, the plots were changed, so they were re-submitted for approval .

The proposed leased area is 919.58 mu, and the proposed plots are distributed in Bailu Township, Sunfang Town and Hangbu Town of Chongren County.
According to the EIA documents issued by the official website of Chongren County People's Government on October 24, 2023, the project is expected to be accepted. State Energy Group Fuzhou Chongren 150MWp Linguang Complementary Photovoltaic Power Generation Project (Photovoltaic Area) has a total investment of 48.9 million yuan and a total planned capacity of 150MWp. A total of 575 Wp monocrystalline silicon N-type solar double-sided module 260884 blocks are installed, the actual installed capacity is 150.0083 MWp, and the construction unit is Guoneng Jiangxi New Energy Industry Co., Ltd.
