, from the campus to the factory area, and then volunteered to go to Myanmar for overseas projects, he took root in foreign countries with his professional skills in seven years of cement equipment operation and maintenance." On the one hand, they rush to repair equipment to ensure production, and on the other hand, they bring out local technical teams to write down the perseverance and ingenuity of Ge clay figurines in overseas construction sites with high temperature, high dust, shortage of spare parts and management differences between China and foreign countries.

year, Myanmar Jinshan Project is in urgent need of equipment management technicians. Liu Guanghui, who saw the notice, submitted the application on his own initiative at the first time. Others advised him that the overseas environment is difficult, far away from his family, and it is more worry-free to stay safely in the domestic factory area, but he has his own considerations: "Book knowledge and domestic field experience will eventually be tested in more complex working conditions. I want to get out of the comfort zone and see if my technology can withstand the test of overseas projects." Before he

left, he had made all the preparations in advance. Actively asked Lv Yizhou, the equipment director of the Myanmar project, for the project equipment information, specifically understood the equipment layout and equipment parameters of the project, communicated with Lv Yizhou through the WeChat, searched for relevant information in China in advance, so as to know fairly well, and be able to substitute into the role as soon as possible after arriving at the site to complete the relevant work; At the same time, considering the language barrier abroad, he learned oral English knowledge online in advance, downloaded translation software on his mobile phone, and actively learned foreign languages. At the end of September 2025, Liu Guanghui packed his bags and embarked on his journey to Mandalay, Myanmar, looking forward to meeting new challenges.

Bad working conditions and management differences, the beginning is the moment of

entering the Myanmar factory area, the huge drop is coming, and it is also the most intuitive impact of Liu Guanghui since he was stationed abroad. The dust control in the plant area

of Jinshan Project is weak, and the tooling is covered with bean-sized ash spots after walking around; the raw material vertical mill area vibrates violently, and ash leakage, material leakage and material accumulation can be seen everywhere, and the operating conditions of the equipment are far inferior to the domestic specifications. Recalling the scene at that time, Liu Guanghui said in surprise and disbelief: "We can never see this kind of scene environment in China." However, what is more difficult than environment is the difference in personnel management: Burmese employees have conservative working habits, are accustomed to completing a single process in turn, do not know how to coordinate construction at the same time, and the construction period is often delayed.

many difficult problems, Liu Guanghui did not rush to deny the original local model, but settled down to take root in the scene, soaking in the production line inspection equipment during the day, combing the equipment account according to the drawings at night, finding out the short board of the whole production line bit by bit, and slowly winning the trust of the Myanmar team with a solid fault disposal.

# The bearing of the clinker crusher was abnormal, and the compression lubrication cycle was stable and the supply

was guaranteed. Liu Guanghui, who finished the pre-shift meeting, routinely inspected the 1 # kiln line equipment. As soon as he approached the clinker crusher, a harsh noise similar to a tractor aroused his vigilance. Close to the thermometry, the temperature of the bearing seat soared to 65 degrees Celsius, and the large pulley showed signs of friction with the protective net. Combined with years of inspection experience, he immediately judged that the crusher bearing tension sleeve thrust gasket failed, the lock nut was loose, and the equipment had axial movement.

At the meeting, Tayzar, the head of the clinker group, was worried that the continuous high vibration would aggravate the damage of the equipment, and he demanded that the machine be shut down immediately for maintenance. Liu Guanghui said to him: "Now is the peak season for cement sales. The shutdown of the kiln for maintenance will directly cause a large loss of production capacity. The rotary kiln cannot be shut down because of this. The parts can be replaced later when we plan to shut down." After some patient disassembly of the root cause of equipment failure and risk assessment of on-site operation, Liu Guanghui gave a compromise plan: to strengthen real-time temperature monitoring by shortening the lubrication cycle without stopping the kiln.

After several communications, the solution was finalized: the bearing lubrication cycle was reduced from the original 1 month to 3 days, once the bearing temperature exceeded 60 ℃, the lubricating grease was injected immediately, and the fan was installed synchronously to assist in cooling. For more than a month thereafter, Liu Guanghui watched and controlled the crusher at fixed points four times a day in the morning, at noon, at noon and in the evening. During the high temperature warning, he and the Burmese staff added lubrication and assisted in cooling at the first time. He was stationed on the spot to monitor the whole process, and then replaced the bearing parts completely until the planned shutdown window, thus successfully avoiding the loss of a shutdown.

Liu Guanghui once again proposed the solution of online maintenance without stopping the kiln. Tayzar and the local staff successively raised two major concerns: what to do if the kiln body continues to discharge materials and the materials produced after the shutdown of the inclined zipper cannot be transported; what to do if the inclined zipper cannot be started after the shutdown of the inclined zipper. Faced with their anxiety and doubts, Liu Guanghui did not talk about theory. He took out the online maintenance video of the same type of equipment in China and disassembled the solutions one by one: We can empty the materials on the grate cooler in advance, and the materials poured by the rotary kiln can stay on the grate bed for 10 minutes; After the crusher is shut down, we will keep the diagonal zipper running for 1 minute to reduce the material on the diagonal zipper by 1/3, so that it can be opened normally in the later period. Before the

construction, he took the lead in completing a complete set of safety preparations, and all the tools such as chain hoist, welding machine, roller and fastener were transported to the site in advance, and the construction process was repeatedly deduced. On the day of formal operation, the movements of the four Burmese employees were still a little rusty and the coordination was not smooth during the first practical operation. Liu Guanghui coordinated the whole process. Although he was a little nervous, relying on mature domestic practical experience, he still stabilized the rhythm and completed the roller replacement and weld repair within the prescribed time limit. At the moment when the

equipment was successfully restarted and the production line resumed operation, Tayzar and the Burmese employees present raised their thumbs. Since then, the local teams have been willing to actively listen to and cooperate with the maintenance and technical renovation plans proposed by the Chinese side, and the barriers to cooperation between Chinese and foreign technical teams have been completely broken.

Myanmar has to import most of the spare parts from the country. There are almost no special spare parts matching the cement production line, and the domestic procurement and transportation cycle is often half a year or even one year, so the shortage of spare parts can easily lead to unplanned downtime. In the past, the project has experienced chain loss of cement mill hoist, forced to shut down without spare parts, resulting in huge losses in peak season, and additional high costs for subsequent emergency air transport of spare parts.

In order to avoid the risk of spare parts from the root, Liu Guanghui went through the key equipment of the whole plant one by one, copied the nameplate of each reducer, checked the model of spare parts, took photos and sent them back to China for review and filing. He insisted on the implementation of the key spare parts reserve standard of "one for use and two for standby", and the core equipment had two sets of spare parts to provide precise parameter support for the subsequent equipment transformation and daily maintenance. The data of motors and reducers needed for the transformation of seven permanent magnet couplings in the plant area were all from this complete arrangement.

In view of the inherent habit of "heavy repair, light inspection" of local employees, Liu Guanghui synchronously landed a long-term management and control mechanism. After the disposal of the faults such as the damage of the liquid coupling and the overload of the accumulated materials, he organized the whole staff to review and analyze at the first time, set up the current chain protection mechanism of the equipment, and automatically chain and stop the crusher when the load of the inclined zipper exceeds the standard, so as to eliminate the damage of the equipment caused by the accumulation of materials from the source. In

daily inspection, his notebook and mobile phone memos are never blank, and the hidden dangers of each production line, the replacement cycle of vulnerable parts and the planned maintenance items are recorded one by one. He adheres to the professional habit of "listening to sound to identify equipment", and relies on abnormal sound, vibration and subtle changes in temperature to catch potential equipment failures in advance. Transforming passive maintenance into preventive maintenance of the whole process. Memo

Liu Guanghui abandoned the simple oral teaching, adopted the mode of "on-site practice + step-by-step explanation", shuttled the production line with apprentices, demonstrated the methods of bearing temperature and vibration detection by hand, and taught the skills of non-stop hidden danger detection. When they encounter professional terms that they do not understand, they will cooperate with gestures and equipment to demonstrate repeatedly, and split the steps to teach a little bit.

In this process, the most difficult thing is to change people's ideas in different cultural backgrounds. In the past, the Myanmar side had the concept that there was no problem with the operation of the equipment, and when the equipment was broken, it would be repaired. Faced with this situation, Liu Guanghui repeatedly used examples of real downtime accidents, eliminating defects in advance and saving costs, combined with on-site practice to let everyone intuitively see the value of inspection in advance, and slowly run in and unify Chinese and foreign operation and maintenance standards.

Hide your yearning and stick to the front line

overseas with responsibility and ingenuity. Far away from your homeland and family, the long time spent in a foreign country is inevitably accompanied by loneliness and pressure. Countless late nights, Liu Guanghui also had a moment of physical and mental exhaustion and wanted to retreat.

What sustains him to persevere is multiple heavy forces. His family often have video calls to understand the value of his overseas work, and the continuous encouragement has become the warmest spiritual backing; the company's overseas assignment is the trust of its own professional ability, the stable operation of the production line is related to the benefits of the whole project, and the post responsibility should not be abandoned halfway; the Chinese colleagues who are stationed abroad support each other, share weal and woe, and eliminate the loneliness of being alone in a foreign land; More importantly, he hopes to accumulate practical experience in overseas complex working conditions and live up to his professional skills in equipment management for many years.

Ask him what "ingenuity" is. He thought for a while and said, "Just don't slack off because of small things, and don't slack off because of repetition.". Only when you do your work to the extreme can you feel at ease. As

night fell, the lights of Mandalay gradually came on. Liu Guanghui finished the day's inspection and returned to the dormitory to open the video to see his family far away in China. The smile on the other end of the screen is a good medicine for him to relieve his fatigue. At the end of the screen, he still keeps the habit of opening the mobile phone memo before going to bed and checking the key inspection equipment for tomorrow.

In this Southeast Asian factory far away from the motherland, the "mechanical fan" measures the health of the equipment with a tape measure, and also guards the strength of Chinese craftsmen to take root overseas.

Why the other one? Because there was a self-description of a Φ3.3m kiln cement clinker production line in January this year. The Φ3.3m kiln, which was built a few years ago and located in another city in the province, is the one I want to describe now.
