Guangxi: "15" to complete more than 90 million tons of cement clinker production capacity of ultra-low emission transformation

Recently, the People's Government of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region issued the 15th Five-Year Plan for the Construction of Beautiful Guangxi. The plan proposes that by 2030, the ecological environment quality will be maintained at the first-class level in the country, the green production and lifestyle will be basically formed, the carbon peak target will be achieved on schedule, significant progress will be made in ecological governance, the urban and rural human settlements environment will be continuously improved, the stability and sustainability of ecosystem diversity will be steadily improved, and the ecological environment risk will be effectively provention and control. The ecological environment management system that meets the requirements of the construction of beautiful Guangxi has been constantly improved, and a number of landmark achievements of beautiful Guangxi have been formed.

The plan also proposes to continue to fight the battle of defending the blue sky, clear water and pure land. Complete the ultra-low emission transformation of more than 90 million tons of cement clinker production capacity and more than 10 million tons of coking production capacity. Support 2-3 key cities to carry out beautiful blue sky construction.

Implement solid waste and new pollutant prevention and control projects. Six domestic waste incineration power generation projects have been built or expanded, with an additional treatment capacity of about 3700 tons per day. We will carry out research on large-scale, high-value and diversified utilization of red mud, manganese slag and lithium slag, and promote technologies such as iron separation and building materials production from red mud. We will build a "waste-free Pinglu Canal" and cultivate three "waste-free parks", two "waste-free groups" and 300 "waste-free cells".
