Yunnan Announces the List of Integrated Demonstration Projects of Green Electricity Hydrogen Production in 2026

On July 2, the Development and Reform Commission of Yunnan Province and the Energy Bureau of Yunnan Province issued the List of Demonstration Projects of Green Electricity Hydrogen Production Integration in Yunnan Province in 2026. Eight projects of Green Electricity Hydrogen Production Integration were selected, involving an annual production capacity of 7305 tons per year.

The notice calls for speeding up the construction of projects and putting them into operation on schedule, and makes it clear that for projects with slow construction progress, we should urge rectification, and if the rectification is not effective, we should adjust the withdrawal list .

State (municipal) development and reform commissions, energy bureaus, and relevant energy enterprises:

In order to promote the consumption of green power and accelerate the pilot demonstration of green hydrogen (ammonia alcohol) industry, the List of Integrated Demonstration Projects of Green Power Hydrogen Production in Yunnan Province in 2026 is hereby printed and distributed. The relevant matters will be notified as follows:

First, strengthen the guarantee of project elements. State (municipal) development and reform commissions and energy bureaus should guide project units to do a good job in project land use and environmental impact assessment, improve the efficiency of examination and approval, actively coordinate and solve project problems, and promote projects to speed up construction and put into operation on schedule.

2. Strengthen the whole life cycle management. The state (city) development and reform commissions and energy bureaus should continue to track the progress of the project, strengthen the overall planning of the work, and ensure the effectiveness of the demonstration project construction. For projects with slow construction progress, we should urge rectification, and if the rectification is not effective, we should adjust the withdrawal list. It is necessary to supervise and guide the project construction management and ensure the safe and orderly implementation of the project. The project owner shall go through the approval (filing) procedures in accordance with the laws and regulations according to the project categories, go through the planning permission, land use, resource utilization, safety production, environmental assessment and other related reporting procedures in accordance with the relevant laws and administrative regulations before starting construction, and regularly update the progress of the demonstration project through the Yunnan Digital Energy Platform (the platform operation manual is attached separately).

Third, do a good job in the reserve of follow-up batch projects. States (cities) should actively organize relevant regions and enterprises to fully tap the application scenarios of green hydrogen , actively plan projects, and prepare for follow-up project declarations.
