Europe , the Italian photovoltaic market is ushering in a new growth cycle. During KEY – The Energy Transition Expo 2026, Tongwei and Coenergia, a leading Italian PV distributor, reached cooperation again, and the two sides formally signed a cooperation agreement on 200 MW high-efficiency PV modules. Chen Fangzhou, head of overseas marketing of photovoltaic Ministry of Commerce components
of Tongwei Co., Ltd ., and Carlo Moretti, CEO of Coenergia, signed the contract on behalf of both sides. This cooperation will further consolidate the foundation of cooperation between the two sides in the Italian market and accelerate the application of high-efficiency photovoltaic modules in southern Europe.

It is reported that as a pioneer of renewable energy in Europe, Italy plans to increase the installed capacity of photovoltaic to 80 GW by 2030, with distributed projects accounting for more than 60%. High electricity prices, limited land resources and policy preferences for low-carbon technologies have led to a surge in market demand for "high-efficiency, low-emission, easy-to-install" photovoltaic modules. Under this market demand, Tongwei's iteration in the new generation of component technology continues to advance. Take TNC 3.0 components as an example, they not only have higher quality, but also generate more electricity.
