Recently, Hunan Forestry Bureau announced that Datang Huayin Loudi million kilowatt photovoltaic project for ecological management occupied 5.75 mu of forest land in violation of regulations, seriously damaged the ecology, all illegal facilities were forcibly demolished, and 19 responsible persons were held accountable. It is reported
that the project, with a total investment of about 6 billion yuan and a planned annual power generation of 1.27 billion degrees, was formally approved at the end of November 2021 and connected to the grid on November 28, 2022.
The project is the largest mountain photovoltaic project in central and southern China, and is also the national benchmark project of "photovoltaic + tailings treatment". As the only one of the four provinces in central China, it has been selected as the first batch of large-scale wind power photovoltaic bases in the country. In just a few years, it has changed from a green benchmark to an ecological negative example.
