On October 30, the Ningxia Office of Industry and Information Technology issued the Announcement on the Demolition of Two Cement Clinker Production Lines with a Daily Output of 2500 Tons of Ningxia Yinghai Tianxiang Building Materials Co., Ltd.
In accordance with the relevant requirements of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology's "Measures for the Implementation of Capacity Replacement in Cement and Glass Industry (2024 Edition)" (Ministry of Industry and Information Technology's original [2024] 206), experts were organized to conduct on-site verification and acceptance on October 30, 2026. Ningxia Yinghai Tianxiang Building Materials Co., Ltd. is used to replace the production capacity of two cement clinker production lines with a daily output of 2500 tons. The main equipment of Line 1 has been dismantled, and the kiln barrel cutting and de-functionalization of Line 2 have been completed. At present, the two production lines do not have the ability to resume the production of cement clinker.
According to previous reports, Ningxia Yinghai Tianxiang Building Materials Group relies on existing production infrastructure to upgrade the production line through equivalent capacity replacement. The production capacity of the above two 2500t/d clinker production lines has been used by the enterprise to replace and construct a 5000t/d second-generation new dry process cement clinker production line at the original site, with a total investment of 680 million yuan.
According to market information, the 5000t/d clinker production line was ignited and put into operation on October 15.
Cement Big Data Research Institute said that in the first three quarters of 2026, six clinker production lines were put into operation in China, namely, Shandong Lianhe Wangqi Cement (4000t/d), Jiaxian Zhonglian Tianguang Cement Co., Ltd. (4500t/d); Anhui Guangde Southern Cement Co., Ltd. (7500t/d), Mudanjiang North Far East Cement Co., Ltd. (6300t/d), Yunnan Jianfeng Dazhan Cement Co., Ltd. (4000t/d) and Ningxia Yinghai Tianxiang Building Materials Co., Ltd. (5000t/d).
In the fourth quarter, six clinker production lines are still planned to be put into operation in China, with a total design capacity of 30,500 tons per day and an annual capacity of about 10 million tons, accounting for less than 1% of the existing capacity. The actual impact is limited, and the ignition progress may be less than planned under the background of general losses in the industry.
