Spot checks found that 13 batches of products were unqualified, including 8 batches of unqualified chloride ions and 5 batches of unqualified water-soluble chromium (VI) in cement, all of which were safety items.

On April 3, the State Administration of Market Supervision and Administration issued a circular on the national supervision and spot check of the quality of 24 kinds of products, such as indoor heaters, in 2025. In terms of

cement, 555 batches of products were sampled, including 166 batches of products from 152 sales units in 26 provinces such as Shandong, Sichuan, Liaoning, Zhejiang, Heilongjiang and Fujian, and 389 batches of products from 389 production units in 29 provinces such as Shandong, Guizhou, Sichuan, Yunnan, Guangxi and Hebei.

Spot checks found that 13 batches of products were unqualified, including 8 batches of unqualified chloride ions and 5 batches of unqualified water-soluble chromium (VI) in cement, all of which were safety items.

In addition, Yidu Yilan Cement Co., Ltd. failed to pass the spot check for two consecutive times; Shanxi Changsheng Cement Co., Ltd. refused the inspection.
