Announcement of Environmental Impact Assessment of Hubei 1 2 Million Tons/Year Phosphogypsum Acid Production Co-production 750,000 Tons/Year Cement Clinker Project

The project is located in Yaojiagang Chemical Industry Park, Zhijiang, Yichang City, Hubei Province. A set of acid production line with an annual treatment capacity of 2 million tons of phosphogypsum will be built to co-produce 750,000 tons of cement clinker per year and 600,000 tons of sulfuric acid.

After the project is completed and put into operation, 2 million tons of phosphogypsum solid waste can be disposed of annually, 800000 tons of industrial sulfuric acid and 1 million tons of high-quality cement clinker can be produced annually, which can effectively solve the problem of phosphogypsum storage and disposal in the phosphorus chemical industry from the source, thoroughly open up the closed-loop utilization of phosphogypsum resources, harmlessness and industrialization, and promote the utilization of phosphogypsum. It is a benchmark project for Xiangyun shares to cultivate green transformation and practice the development concept of "green water and green hills are Jinshan and Yinshan".
