On August 5

, 2026, led by Yuwang Special Building Materials Group of Yuzhou City, Henan Province, the group standard T/BMIAHP 002-2026 Geopolymer Cementitious Materials was compiled by the National Institute of Technical Information of Building Materials Industry, the Environmental Planning Institute of the Ministry of Ecology and Environment and other units and enterprises. It was officially released by Henan Building Materials Industry Association and will be formally implemented on August 5.

This standard unifies the product classification, strength grade, environmental protection index and detection, storage and transportation specifications of six solid waste base polymers, reduces the cost of enterprise transformation relying on mature cement detection system, establishes a full-chain quality control system, and greatly improves the standardization and high-value of industrial solid wastes such as fly ash, slag, steel slag, coal gangue and tailings. Smooth the industrial chain of circular economy and lay a solid industrial foundation for the establishment of waste-free cities.

At the same time, the standard uses green low-carbon new materials to upgrade the traditional building materials industry, and through the large-scale promotion of geopolymer cementitious materials instead of traditional cement materials, effectively reduces the carbon emissions of the building materials industry, and helps the cement industry to transform green low-carbon and upgrade its stock capacity.
