Digital New Energy DataBM. Com was informed that on April 24, the tender announcement for EPC general contracting of 700000 kilowatt photovoltaic power generation project in Karamay, Xinjiang Oilfield was issued. The tenderer is Xinjiang Oilfield Branch of PetroChina Company Limited.
The announcement shows that the project is located in Wuerhe District, Karamay City, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, with AC side rated capacity of 508.62 MW , DC side installed capacity of 534.052 MWp, and capacity ratio of 1: 1.05. It is planned to install 861380 N-type monocrystalline silicon double-sided double-glass photovoltaic modules of 620 peak watts and above.
Photovoltaic modules will be arranged vertically, with 2 rows and 26 columns. Each string unit consists of 52 monocrystalline double-sided modules, supporting the construction of 2333 300 kW and above string inverters and 135 3300 KVA box-type transformers.
In addition, a 70MW/140MWh (10%/2h) electrochemical energy storage system and a 50MVA synchronous condenser will be built. The bidding scope of the
project mainly includes the design of photovoltaic field, equipment procurement, civil construction of cable, grounding, box transformer foundation, installation of photovoltaic modules, box transformer, string inverter, cable, grounding and other equipment and facilities; Design, equipment procurement, civil construction and equipment installation of booster gathering station, energy storage area, synchronous condenser and ancillary facilities; commissioning, trial operation, defect elimination, training and acceptance of all equipment systems in the station area. In terms of
performance, this tender requires bidders to have at least one 100MW or above photovoltaic power generation project design and construction general contracting or design or construction general contracting performance from January 1, 2022 to the deadline for bidding. The
project contract period is from the date of signing the contract to December 31 , 2026; the construction period is from the date of signing the contract to October 30 , 2026. Consortium bidding is not accepted for
this project . The
bidding documents will be obtained from April 25 , 2026 to April 29 , 2026.
The bid deadline and bid opening time is 8:30 on May 18, 2026.
