On August 19, the Bureau of Ecology and Environment of Lincang City, Yunnan Province, issued a public announcement on the proposed approval of the EIA documents for the Heimatang Photovoltaic Power Generation Project .
According to the announcement, the project is located in Aihua Town, Yunxian County, Lincang City, Yunnan Province, and is constructed by China-Guangzhou Nuclear New Energy (Yunxian) Co., Ltd . The planned rated capacity of the
project is 170MW , the installed capacity is 196.2324 MWp, and the total floor area is 165.0299 hm ². The main construction contents of the project include photovoltaic array, tower base of collector line, box transformer, booster station, living area, operation and maintenance center and supporting transportation, communication and power supply facilities.

Specifically, the project plans to arrange 75 phalanxes, all of which are fixed support phalanxes; a total of 10782 supports are installed, each support is equipped with 28 components , arranged in 2 rows × 14, and the support inclination is 24 °; A total of 532 series inverters with rated power of 320 kW, 75 box-type transformers, a new 220 kV booster station and a 170 MVA main transformer are set up. The 220 kV side adopts single bus connection, and the 35 kV side is connected to 8 photovoltaic collector lines.
It is noteworthy that on August 27 , 2025, the Heimatang Photovoltaic Power Generation Project held a commencement ceremony in Toudaoshui Village, Aihua Town, Yunxian County, Lincang City, Yunnan Province. The estimated total investment of the project is 680 million yuan . After the completion of the project, the annual average power generation will be about 230 million kilowatt-hours.
