On August 20, the Development and Reform Commission of Hebei Province announced the proposed postponement and cancellation of the construction plan of independent energy storage projects in Hebei Province, which included 85 projects and 11.655 million kilowatts, of which 69 projects and 9.905 million kilowatts were postponed. Sixteen construction projects and 1.75 million kilowatts were cancelled. Of the 16 projects that
cancelled the construction plan, five involved all-vanadium flow energy storage technology , four designed sodium-ion energy storage technology, and one flywheel energy storage .
