Recently, Longji Green Energy announced two major technological breakthroughs.
First, the Hybrid Interdigitated-Back-Contact Cell (HIBC), independently developed by Longji Green Energy, has been certified by the Hamelin Institute of Solar Energy (ISFH) in Germany. The photoelectric conversion efficiency reaches 28.13% , which is another step towards the theoretical limit efficiency of crystalline silicon solar cells after its efficiency reaches 28.04% in January 2026;
Secondly, the component based on HIBC battery has been certified by Rocky Mountain National Laboratory (NLR, formerly NREL), and its efficiency has broken through to 26.4% . On the basis of pushing the efficiency of crystalline silicon modules to 26%, Longji Green Energy has reached a new high.

As the ultimate solution of single crystalline silicon battery technology, the HIBC battery developed by Longji Green Energy Central Research Institute can be regarded as a "master" of all kinds of battery technology advantages. The R & D team innovatively introduced core technologies such as in-situ edge passivation (iPET) and laser crystallization modification (LIC), and achieved multiple breakthroughs in cell optical performance, interface passivation effect and charge transport efficiency through systematic optimization of structural design, material selection and process technology, thus exploring a mature path for the commercialization of extremely efficient crystalline silicon cells. The hard core breakthrough of
technical strength has been transformed into the leading edge of mass production. In April 2026, TaiyangNews, the world's authoritative photovoltaic media, released a list of commercial mass production module efficiency, and EcoLife series modules built by Longji Green Energy based on HIBC technology topped the list with 25% mass production efficiency. This marks the formal formation of a complete closed-loop of HIBC batteries from laboratory research and development to mass commercial applications, providing global customers with another high-quality clean energy solution of "efficient power generation, high power generation, beautiful adaptation, safe and reliable" (I. E. "high, rich, handsome and safe").
