On January 9, the Bureau of Ecology and Environment of Xishuangbanna Prefecture, Yunnan Province, issued a public announcement on the environmental impact assessment document of Meng da Photovoltaic Power Generation Project .
According to the announcement, the project is located in Menghun Town, Menghai County, Xishuangbanna Dai Autonomous Prefecture, Yunnan Province. The construction unit is Yunlu Energy (Menghai) New Energy Development Co., Ltd. and the EIA organization is Yunnan Electric Power Design Institute Co., Ltd. of China Energy Engineering Group.
The project covers a total area of 173.19 hm ², with an installed capacity of 149.1MW and a rated capacity of 120MW . The project uses every 3.2MW/1.6MW/1MW to form a photovoltaic array, a total of 45 photovoltaic arrays, and equipped with 45 box transformers, 375 inverters, and the Bajiaoting project booster station is rebuilt, adding a 170 MVA main transformer and supporting facilities. The total investment of the
project is estimated to be 55391 0.68 million yuan . Among them, the environmental protection investment is 3 million yuan, accounting for 0.54% of the total investment.
