Qilianshan 5000t/d cement clinker production line will be put into operation in October 2026

Recently, Wang Chao, a member of the Party Leadership Group and deputy director of the Department of Industry and Information Technology of Gansu Province, and his delegation conducted a special investigation on the construction project of circular economy industry in Qilian Mountains, understood the progress of the project on the spot, and put forward clear requirements for the next stage of work.

Wang Chao emphasized that: first, we should tackle the key problems at full speed and promote the early implementation and early effectiveness of the project; second, we should strictly adhere to the construction plan and unswervingly promote the replacement of production capacity; third, we should build a strong safety defense line and compact the responsibility for safe production; fourth, we should take the initiative and continue to deepen market development.

At the same time, important progress has also been made at the project site. According to Gansu Construction and Investment News, the slope support and drainage system of the mine industrial site of the circular economy industrial construction project of Longnan Qilian Mountain Cement Co., Ltd. has passed the acceptance test smoothly. This marks a major breakthrough in the civil engineering of the mine and provides a solid raw material guarantee for the completion and commissioning of the project in October 2026.

Looking back on the project node, on January 19 this year, the Qilian Mountain Circular Economy Industrial Construction Project in Longnan held a ceremony of kiln tail frame capping and rotary kiln closure. According to the information previously released by the Department of Industry and Information Technology of Gansu Province, a new clinker production line with a daily output of 5000 tons is built in the project, with a capacity replacement ratio of 1:1. The withdrawal capacity comes from a 2500 tons/day production line in the same plant area and a 2500 tons/day production line of Qilian Mountain Cement in Wenxian County.

With the completion of the mine project and the closure of the main equipment, the new 5000 t/d line in Qilian Mountain is progressing steadily as planned. It is expected that it will be formally ignited and put into operation next autumn to further optimize the regional cement production capacity layout.
