On May 20, the Bureau of Ecology and Environment of Chifeng City, Inner Mongolia, issued a public announcement on the acceptance of the environmental impact report form of the integrated project of wind and solar hydrogen production in Linxi County (the first phase of 100000 kilowatt photovoltaic power generation ) .
The EIA report shows that China Coal (Linxi) Bioenergy Co., Ltd. plans to build a "Wind and Solar Hydrogen Production Integration Project" with an annual output of 200000 tons of green methanol in Linxi County, Chifeng City, which includes the new energy part (Wind and Solar Hydrogen Production Project) and the chemical part (Biomass Green Methanol Project).
This announcement is for photovoltaic power generation, with a total investment of 313.06 million yuan and a total floor area of 323.1837 H. 166,998 N-type double-sided 720Wp PV modules are proposed, with installed capacity of 120.23856MWp at DC side . The AC side capacity is 100M W.
China Coal Linxi County Wind and Solar Hydrogen Production Integration Project (Phase I 100000 kW Photovoltaic Power Generation Part) has obtained the project filing notice issued by Linxi County Development and Reform Commission on July 7, 2025. According to
the data, China Coal (Linxi) Bioenergy Co., Ltd. was established in August 2024, and its business scope covers wind power technology services, solar power technology services, energy storage technology services, etc. The controlling shareholder of the company is China Coal Inner Mongolia Energy Co., Ltd., which is a holding subsidiary of China Coal Group .
