On May 27, the 2026 RCEP Member Countries Local Trade and Investment Cooperation and Exchange Dialogue, co-sponsored by the Chinese People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries and the People's Government of Anhui Province, was held in Wuhu, Anhui Province. The dialogue is an important sub-forum of the 2026 RCEP Local Government and Friendship City Cooperation (Huangshan) Forum. Yang Jun, Party Secretary and Chairman of Conch Group, was invited to attend and deliver a speech.
Yang Jun pointed out that with the deep adjustment of the current global economic pattern, RCEP has become an important engine of regional economic integration by virtue of its huge market size, diversified industrial coverage and stable institutional framework. Since its formal implementation on January 1, 2022, RCEP has gone through more than four years. The policy dividends have been continuously released, the implementation effect has become increasingly remarkable, and the industrial chain and supply chain in the region have become more closely linked, which has injected strong momentum into the stable operation of the Asia-Pacific economy and the mutual benefit and win-win situation of all countries, and also provided a major opportunity for enterprises to smooth trade channels and promote investment development.
Yang Jun introduced that Conch Group, as a large international enterprise with cement building materials as its core industry and diversified industries as its coordinated development, is continuing to deepen its real economic and trade cooperation with RCEP member countries, focusing on Indonesia, Myanmar, Laos, Thailand, Cambodia and other countries, with a cumulative investment of over 15 billion yuan and 24 enterprises. We will vigorously cultivate new forms of trade such as cross-border e-commerce, and become the largest and fastest growing enterprise in the same industry in the RCEP region. Conch has not only achieved its own rapid development, but also effectively promoted the local urbanization and modernization process, and promoted infrastructure construction and economic and social progress. At present, the localization rate of Conch's employees in the RCEP region has reached more than 86%, which has led to tens of thousands of jobs. The implementation of the Silk Road Talent Training Program, the co-construction of Conch Staff University, the training of local employees'vocational skills, the donation of donations to disaster areas, the donation of cement to repair schools and roads have greatly promoted the integration of diverse cultures and fully demonstrated the good image of Chinese enterprises.
Yang Jun said that in the face of unprecedented changes in a century, the strategic value of RCEP is more prominent and the development space is broader. Next, Conch Group will continue to deepen RCEP regional cooperation from three aspects.
The first is intensive cultivation to build an RCEP model for the advanced cement industry. Make full use of the dividend and open policy of RCEP system, further strengthen high-level international capacity cooperation by virtue of Conch's advantages in domestic cement manufacturing, continue to export advanced cement production capacity and intelligent, green and integrated development achievements to RCEP member countries, and ensure that the economic and technological standards of overseas factories remain in the lead in the industry. The local cement industry and urban construction have entered a new stage of high-quality development.
The two is to integrate and coordinate the promotion of emerging industries to take root in RCEP. At present, Conch is speeding up the construction of a new high-quality development model of "one base and five industries" based on cement manufacturing, with new energy, new materials, environmental protection industry, digital economy and modern service trade promoting each other, and striving to create a world-class enterprise with global competitiveness. Relying on the development pattern of "one base and five industries", Conch will strengthen multi-level cooperation with RCEP member countries in industry, economy, trade and technology, and promote the RCEP regional industrial chain, supply chain and value chain to high-end.
Third, we are ambitious and work together to create a better future for the RCEP region. Continue to uphold the concept of "consultation, co-construction and sharing", actively promote the development of localization, promote local employment and activate regional economy with modern industrial production mode, create more development opportunities for local people, effectively enhance p eople's sense of access, happiness and security, jointly maintain harmonious and stable public relations, and take practical actions.
