Iran's annual cement exports are expected to reach 120 million tons by 2025, according to Mohammad Reza Nematzadeh, Iran's minister of industry, mining and trade.

   From March 21 to October 22, 2014, Iran exported 11.79 million tons of cement and aggregates. Abdolreza Sheikhan, Secretary-General of Iran's Cement Industry Employers' Association (Cement Industry Employers Association), claimed that 8.1 million tons of cement and 3.6 million tons of clinker were exported during the period.

   About 32.5 million tonnes of total cement production in the first six months of the year was distributed to the domestic market, Sheikhan said. Cement output reached 41.6 million tons in the first seven months of this year, and cement exports totaled more than 20 million tons in the last fiscal year.
