Recently, Tesla announced that its "Oasis Project" supercharging station in Lost Hills, California, USA, has been officially put into operation, becoming the largest Tesla supercharging station in the world.
The charging station is equipped with 168 V4 super charging piles, with a maximum output power of 325 kW per pile and ultra-fast charging capability. The whole station is powered by 100% renewable energy and does not rely on the public grid at all. The
station has a solar power generation system with a total installed capacity of 11 megawatts, including ground photovoltaic arrays and covered solar car sheds, with an average annual power generation of about 20 gigawatt hours, which can meet the annual electricity demand of about 1700 American households.
The generated energy is stored in 10 Tesla Megapack energy storage units, with an overall energy storage capacity of 39 MWh.
