Czech PSP Engineering recently signed Uzbekistan's largest overseas cement package order so far. According to Forbes Czech, PSP will build a new cement plant with an annual capacity of 1 million tons (clinker capacity of 3300 t/d) in Jizak Oblast for local owner Jizzakh Avantage Plus at a price of 183 million US dollars, and the whole plant is scheduled to be delivered in early 2028. After putting into operation, the plant will cover 5% of Uzbekistan's cement production at one stroke, providing a localized guarantee for the booming infrastructure and housing needs. There are two international "foreign aid" behind the
project: Turkey's SanDeks, as a strategic partner, is responsible for the integration of process packages and key equipment, while several Czech supporting enterprises undertake automation, steel structure and environmental protection modules, forming a "European standard" supply chain. At the capital level, all investment is provided by an unnamed international investment fund, the owner can start construction without using his own funds, PSP's collection rhythm is directly linked to the construction node, and the risk is controllable.
For PSP Engineering, the Jizak plant is the project with the largest single amount and the highest degree of technology integration in Central Asia and the Middle East. Jaroslav Kout KoutK ák, technical director and board member, admitted that this is not only a "turnkey" project, but also a demonstration model for the company to export European low-carbon clinker, alternative fuels and waste heat power generation technology to Central Asia as a whole; After successful operation, PSP will use Uzbekistan as a springboard to radiate to the markets of Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan and Afghanistan, and lock in the new cement demand of Central Asia, which is expected to exceed 20 million tons in the next decade.
