18 March, Lushui Municipal Development and Reform Bureau issued an announcement on the withdrawal of investment and development rights of Lushui Huineng New Energy Co., Ltd. (A wholly-owned subsidiary of China Nuclear Huineng Co., Ltd.) on the 100MW/200MWh shared energy storage power station project in Lushui City.
The announcement pointed out that due to the adjustment of national policies and changes in the local market, the project has not yet passed the investment decision and can not promote investment and construction as agreed. In the follow-up, new investors will be selected in strict accordance with the regulations , and the project transfer will be coordinated synchronously to ensure the orderly progress of the follow-up investment and construction of the project.
It is understood that the 100MW/200MWh shared energy storage power station project in Lushui City is located in Laowo Town, Lushui City, Nujiang Lisu Autonomous Prefecture, Yunnan Province, with a total investment of 500 million yuan and a planned area of 53.25 mu. It was originally planned to build a 220kV booster substation, a 100MW/200MWh energy storage power station and an access road. The project passed the EIA approval in December 2024.
