On May 4, Cambodian Minister of Industry, Science and Technology and Innovation Han Vanndy (Hem Vanndy) led the heads of relevant departments and bureaus to visit Huaxin Cambodia Industrial Park. Enterprises are encouraged to further expand investment, enhance competitiveness and actively expand new areas of building materials production and export.
Han Wandi and his delegation went to the production line of cement mill system, central control room, rotary kiln, shipping workshop and packaging plant to understand the production process, equipment operation and safety and environmental protection management in detail, and listened to the special report of Ke Hongwei, general manager of Cambodia Company, on Huaxin's global business layout and development in Cambodia. During the
discussion, the two sides had in-depth communication on issues of concern to enterprises such as energy price stability, industry development environment optimization, resource security and industrial chain coordination. Ke Hongwei said that Huaxin will strengthen its confidence in Cambodia's development, carry out China's "the Belt and Road" initiative and the "six-sided diamond" cooperation framework between China and Cambodia, continuously improve the level of localized production and the synergy of the industrial chain, and contribute to Cambodia's industrial development and infrastructure construction.
Han Wandi pointed out that Huaxin has taken root in Cambodia for a long time, continued to expand investment, and made significant contributions in ensuring the supply of building materials, leading the development of the industry, and promoting local employment, which was highly affirmed. In response to the concerns of enterprises, he said that the Ministry of Industry, Science and Technology and Innovation would strongly support the development of Huaxin. At the same time, he hoped that Huaxin would continue to follow international standards to enhance its export competitiveness with better product quality; actively introduce China's advanced technology and management experience to accelerate product upgrading and technological innovation; and strengthen cooperation with the National Institute of Industrial Sciences of Cambodia to expand the category of building materials with high import demand.
