Recently, BYD Energy Storage signed a cooperation agreement with Greenvolt Power to jointly develop Siedlce Energy Storage Project in Poland. With a total capacity of 600MW/2.4GWh , the project will become the largest battery energy storage project in Poland.
This cooperation is another joint effort between BYD Energy Storage and Greenvolt Power in Poland, where the cumulative capacity of the two projects has reached 1.6G Wh. The Siedlce project is scheduled to start construction in the third quarter of 2026 and is expected to be put into commercial operation by the end of 2027.
BYD Energy Storage provides the leading BYD Haohan energy storage system for the project, carrying the world's largest 2710 Ah special blade battery for energy storage, with a minimum unit capacity of 14.5 M Wh, to achieve an equivalent 20-foot container 10 MWh super-large capacity. Haohan will save land and construction costs for the Siedlce project with fewer boxes and a smaller footprint.
