On August 17, the official of Hesheng Silicon Industry announced that on July 14 this year, the U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) officially sent a letter to remove Hesheng Silicon Industry (Jiaxing) Co., Ltd. Effective from that day, it became the first enterprise in China to be successfully removed from the list.
Previously, on June 24, 2021, CBP of the United States issued a temporary detention order to Hesheng Silicon Industry to detain photovoltaic raw materials, products and other silicon-based products produced by Hesheng Silicon Industry and downstream products using the products as raw materials.
Hesheng Silicon said that in the past five years, the company has set up a special working group to simultaneously promote the two main lines of administrative appeal and legal defense , and to carry out multiple rounds of docking verification with various departments of the United States. On July 14, 2026, CBP of the United States sent a letter formally revoking the previous temporary detention order against Hesheng Jiaxing. So far, the import restrictions related to the Xinjiang-related Act have been lifted at the same time, the shackles of extraterritorial control that lasted for five years have been completely lifted, and the overseas trade channels of enterprises have been completely restored .
On August 17, Hesheng Silicon's share price rose slightly by 2.87%, closing at 36.5 yuan per share.
