On September 22, the Bureau of Ecology and Environment of Puer City, Yunnan Province, issued a public announcement on the acceptance of environmental impact assessment documents for Nanxian Tea-Light Complementary Power Generation Project (major changes). The
content shows that the project is located in Jiujing Township, Lancang County, Pu'er City, with a total land area of 101.9234h ㎡, a total investment of 382.5 million yuan and a construction period of 12 months. The project adopts the tea-light complementary mode, with a planned rated capacity of 85MW and an installed capacity of 96.987 MWp . It is proposed to use 149,212 monocrystalline silicon double-sided double-glass N-type PV modules with peak power of 650 Wp . The main construction contents are photovoltaic array, inverter , box-type transformer, collector line, etc. In
January 2026, the EIA report of the project was approved by the Bureau of Ecological Environment of Pu'er City. However, due to the impact of land acquisition in the process of project promotion, the scope of project land has been adjusted, and the area, plot and supporting booster station of the project have changed, so the project has been re-submitted for EIA approval. Compared
with the original environmental impact assessment, the rated capacity of the photovoltaic array remains unchanged, while the photovoltaic array, the number of supports and the number of photovoltaic panels have changed. The original plan is to use 620Wp photovoltaic modules , but now it is changed to 650Wp modules. The construction unit of the
project is Huaneng Lancang River (Lancang) New Energy Co., Ltd .
