Stakeholders should submit questionnaires for this Sunset Review by March 12, 2026. The Canadian Border Services Agency will make a final ruling on this sunset review investigation no later than July 2, 2026.

2015, the Canadian Border Services Agency made an affirmative final ruling on the case, confirming that the dumping margin of Chinese enterprises was 9.3% -154.4%, and the subsidy amount was 0.03 yuan/W-0.34 yuan/W. On July 3,

2015, the Canadian International Trade Court issued a notice to arbitrate the case for industrial injury. The court held that the dumping and subsidies of crystalline silicon photovoltaic modules and laminates imported from China did not cause damage to Canada's domestic industry, but posed a threat of damage. On May 22,
2020, the Canadian International Trade Tribunal and the Canadian Border Services Agency issued announcements to launch the first anti-dumping and countervailing sunset review investigation on crystalline silicon photovoltaic modules and laminates originating in or imported from China. On October 16, 2020, the Canadian Border Services Agency made an affirmative final ruling on the case. On March 25, 2021, the Canadian International Trade Court made an affirmative final ruling on the case.
