On July 6, the Bureau of Ecology and Environment of Puer City, Yunnan Province, issued an environmental impact assessment document for the photovoltaic power generation project in 80 villages to be reviewed and publicized.

The announcement shows that the Eighty Village Photovoltaic Power Generation Project is located in Manwan Town, Jingdong County, Puer City, with a total investment of 1.012 billion yuan , mainly building 65 photovoltaic arrays with a rated capacity of 230MW (AC side).
The project construction unit is Huaneng Lancang River (Jingdong) New Energy Co., Ltd .
Previously, on June 29, Puer Municipal Bureau of Ecology and Environment issued a public announcement on the acceptance of the EIA of the project. The environmental impact assessment documents show that the project is a tea-light complementary photovoltaic power generation project, with a total floor area of 351.96h ㎡, a rated capacity of 230 MW (AC side), an installed capacity of 283.4832MWp (DC side), and a capacity ratio of 1: 1.2320. A total of 429,520 monocrystalline silicon double-sided double-glass modules with peak power of 660 Wp are used. The construction period of the project is 18 months . On December 4,
2025, the Eighty Village Photovoltaic Power Generation Project obtained the Yunnan Fixed Assets Investment Project Record Certificate issued by the Development and Reform Bureau of Jingdong Yi Autonomous County.
