On November 10, Gansu Huadian Gannan Xiahe 100 MW Muguang Complementary Photovoltaic Power Generation Project started smoothly.
The project is located in Sangke Town, Xiahe County, Gannan Prefecture, Gansu Province, with an elevation of 3490m-3560m and an area of about 2359 mu. The rated capacity of the photovoltaic power station of the project is 100MW , with 29 sub-arrays with a rated capacity of 3300 kW and 1 sub-array with a rated capacity of 4300 kW. The capacity ratio of the photovoltaic field is considered as 1.299: 1, and the monocrystalline double-sided 620 Wp battery modules are used, totaling 209560 blocks. Installed PV module capacity 129.9272 MWp.
The photovoltaic power station is connected to the newly-built 110kV booster station of the project by four 35kV collector lines, and the booster station is connected to the 330kV gathering station of Xiahe by one 110kV line; The design capacity of the energy storage system in this phase is 10MW/20MWh, consisting of two 5.175MW/10.32MWh energy storage units, which are boosted to 35kV locally by 35kV step-up transformer. One circuit of 35kV collector line is connected to the 35kV bus of 110kV booster station.
The project adopts the innovative mode of "complementary grazing and light", and realizes "power generation on the board and grazing under the board" by raising the photovoltaic bracket, which not only retains the function of land animal husbandry, but also reduces the evaporation of surface water, promotes the restoration of vegetation and improves the quality of pasture. After the completion of the project, it will create employment for the local people, broaden the income sources of herdsmen, promote rural revitalization and national unity, achieve win-win economic, social and ecological benefits, further optimize the energy structure of Gannan region, and provide stable and reliable clean energy support for the high-quality development of regional economy and society.
