On November 21, the Department of Ecology and Environment of Hubei Province officially released the performance rating results of enterprises in key industries of heavy polluted weather in the province in 2025, and Huaxin Chibi Company was rated as a B-level enterprise, becoming the first enterprise in Chibi City to receive this rating.
In order to scientifically deal with heavy polluted weather and promote the green transformation of enterprises, at the beginning of this year, the Hubei Provincial Department of Ecology and Environment carried out the work of grading the performance of 67 key enterprises in heavy polluted weather, according to the type of industry, the level of governance and the intensity of emissions. Enterprises are divided into a, B (including B-), C, D, performance-leading and non-performance-leading levels. Huaxin Chibi Company has been recognized as a B-level environmental performance enterprise, which is a recognition of the company's adherence to green development. Since 2022
, Huaxin Chibi Company has started the establishment of B-level performance enterprises in an all-round way, and deeply practiced the sustainable development path of "energy saving, pollution control, green and low carbon". Funds will be invested in the upgrading and transformation of environmental protection facilities, including the implementation of the project of transforming the kiln head electrostatic precipitator into the electric bag composite precipitator and the promotion of the low nitrogen treatment project of nitrogen oxides at the kiln tail. After the transformation, the emission concentration of nitrogen oxides, sulfur dioxide and other particulate matter at the kiln inlet decreased steadily and reached the standard. In addition, the company has comprehensively strengthened environmental management and control in the production process, strengthened the management of unorganized emissions, implemented the sealing management of the whole plant, promoted the improvement of the qualified rate of online monitoring data for environmental protection, improved the account of road transport vehicles, completed the closure of unorganized belt transport corridors, and installed electronic lifting doors at the bottom of the reservoir. During the annual overhaul period, a series of environmental protection improvements such as the replacement of filter bags of the main dust collector at the kiln inlet were completed.
