project is located in Wuerhe Industrial Park, Karamay City, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, with an estimated total investment of 5 billion yuan and a planned total land area of 360 mu (240000 square meters), which will be implemented in two phases. The total construction area of the newly-built production plant and logistics warehouse is more than 176,000 square meters, the total construction area of the power station, subsidiary warehouse and complex building is 61,500 square meters, and the annual output of 10GW high-efficiency solar cells is about 908 million pieces .
Investment information shows that the main silicon wafers of the project are supplied by Xinjiang Jingpin New Energy Co., Ltd. , a local enterprise in Xinjiang ( a total of 1 billion pieces ). Accessories such as coated tempered glass, aluminum frame, hydrogen peroxide and other packaging materials are purchased through the market.
In addition, the project of 12 GW high-efficiency monocrystalline silicon rods and wafers, also located in Wuerhe District, was fully launched in July 2022 with a total investment of 3.5 billion yuan. The project is invested by Xinjiang Jingpin New Energy Co., Ltd ., a subsidiary of Jiangsu Jingpin New Energy Co., Ltd.
