On July 13, the clarification announcement of the tender document for the 500000 kilowatt photovoltaic sand control integration project (EPC) in Xinhe County of Xinjiang Rongyi Company was issued.
The announcement shows that due to the addition of technical standards and drawings (see the Q & A document for details), the original bid opening time is 11:00 on July 24, 2026. Changed to: 11:00 , July 28, 2026.
Earlier, on July 3, the EPC tender announcement for the photovoltaic sand control project was issued, and the tenderer was Xinjiang Rongyi Technology Co., Ltd.
The photovoltaic sand control project is located in Aksu Prefecture, Xinjiang, with a total installed capacity of 500,000 kilowatts, supporting the construction of an electrochemical energy storage system with a scale of 54.435MW/108.87 MWh, and simultaneously implementing comprehensive control of 15,000 mu of desertified land. Before
this tender, the project had issued a tender announcement in November 2025. In December of the same year, the successful candidate of the project , Zhangjiakou Huagong Construction Group Co., Ltd. , was announced as the first candidate.
However. On June 16, 2026, the project suddenly issued a termination announcement. The announcement said that due to major changes in the investment plan, the contract matters had not been properly negotiated after the opening of the tender, and the validity period of the tender had passed, so it was decided to terminate the tender. At the same time, it was disclosed that after the termination of the tender, the tender will be reorganized after the adjustment of the scheme.
