At present, the Saatvik Solar Industries is building an integrated photovoltaic cell and component production base in this area. On June 5,

2025, the Saatvik Solar Industries held a foundation-laying ceremony for the 4GW component factory . The project site is located in Gopalpur, Ganjam District, Odisha, India.

At the time, Prashant Mathur, chief executive of Saatvik Green Energy Limited, the parent company of Saatvik Solar Industries, said: The 4.8GW battery and 4GW module integrated manufacturing project we constructed in Odisha has entered the advanced stage of construction, and is scheduled to be completed and put into operation by the end of fiscal year 2027 and 2026, respectively. At the same time, we are implementing a 1G W capacity expansion at a module plant in Ambala, which is expected to be commissioned in the first quarter of fiscal year 2026.

Follow-up planning shows that the company's photovoltaic projects in Odisha should be carried out in stages, with the first phase planned to build 2.4G W battery capacity and 4G W module capacity. Prashant Mathur said: "The Odisha project is not just a manufacturing base milestone for the company, but a declaration of ambition.". As the 2.4G W battery production line and 4G W component production line are about to be put into production, the company is taking a key step to expand production scale and strengthen vertical integration capabilities, laying a solid foundation for the next stage of high-speed growth.

As such, the Odisha Phase II project shall be the proposed 2.4G W battery. Now, the company has expanded its production capacity to 3.6GW in the second phase of the project. In fact, as early as May this year, the Saatvik Green Energy Limited has disclosed in its annual report. On May 20

this year, the company released its 2026 earnings report, revealing that the Orissa Integrated Manufacturing Project is still progressing as planned, with the second phase of photovoltaic cell expansion from 2.4GW to 3.6GW .
